eShakti Ruffle Front Surplice Dress

Remember my obsession with these absolutely fabulous emerald tear drop earrings worn by Angelina Jolie and Kyle Richards? My wonderful boyfriend bought me a pair for Valentine’s Day, likely because he was tired of hearing me talk about how much I needed my own pair of faux emerald drop earrings. {By the way, they’re even better in person – the color is truly magnificent!}

Each wedding season I plan one outfit to wear to each wedding I will be attending. {I know this may be a bit of a faux pas, but whatevs. As long as you’re not seeing the same people at every wedding it’s OK to reuse and make the most of the same outfit.} This year I am obviously planning my wedding outfit around the emerald earrings. I was considering a safe black dress, but when I came across this beautiful Ruffle Front Surplice Dress in Purple from eShakti, I realized that this summer will be my jewel-toned Summer of purple and emerald green. I love everything about this dress, starting with the color, then moving to the ruffles on the top, the wrapped waist band, and the slightly flared skirt.

Let us not forget the best part of all: This dress costs just $54.95! Plus, you can get it fitted to your body and add customizations like changing the sleeves or the length of the skirt or adjusting the neckline, starting at just $7.50. eShakti makes customization affordable for everyone, which I love. What’s not to covet?

While I plan on making this dress my party dress of the season, this would also make a fantastic bridesmaid dress! If dark purple isn’t your thing, it also comes in a fabulous emerald green and black.

To Purchase: eShakti; Cost: $54.95
