We’re always on the lookout for fun and unique bridesmaid gift ideas, and were inspired by a fashion week collaboration between Gigi New York and Yosi Samra to suggest this one.
For a limited time only, Gigi New York is pairing the Gigi New York All in One Bag and a pair of Yosi Samra Ballet Flats into one package, and including free personalization on both!
Granted, this collaboration isn’t exactly cheap, as each set costs $171, but it could be a gorgeously practical gift that your bridesmaids will likely use and wear for years! The All in One Bag is available in nine different colors, and if one is available to match your wedding colors it could serve as your bridesmaids wedding day clutch! The shoes will be perfect for your girls who want to keep the dance floor lively, but can’t do so in heels. The bag has room for the ballet flats (which are available in nude and navy), but there’s also enough room in the bag to fit some other essentials as well.
Of course, if splurging for these items isn’t in your budget, you could always find a cute clutch and flats – likely for a fraction of the cost of this set – to gift to your girls instead.

Long before I was engaged I spent a few hours helping a friend purchase items to go into a bridal emergency kit. Honestly, had it not been for that afternoon I probably wouldn’t have even know that a bridal emergency kit was a thing!
I’m generally the type of person who goes with the flow, so while I was slightly concerned that my klutzy self would spill red wine or BBQ sauce down the front of my dress at my own wedding, I also knew that if that happened I would probably just laugh it off and have a good story to tell one day. As it was, I ended up avoiding red wine like the plague and was super careful with the BBQ sauce and the only “emergency” item I remember needing was a safety pin, though for the life of me now I cannot remember why. My other concern leading up to my wedding was that I’d chip my fingernail polish off the night before, but I avoided that particular issue by getting a gel manicure.
While ultimately I didn’t need a bridal emergency kit, every bride is different and I’m sure most want to be a little more prepared in case of an emergency than I was! The image above from Something Turquoise gives a good run-down for what brides-to-be might think about including in their own bridal emergency kits. The only caution I’d provide is that purchasing all of those items could get kind of pricey!

Do Tell: Did you have a bridal emergency kit prepared on your wedding day? If so, what would you say are “must-have” items?
I spotted these State Save the Date Wood Magnets on Hatch the other day and fell instantly in love. I feel like I keep saying this, but had I seen these before my wedding I probably would have gone this route. It’s such a fun idea! The magnets can actually be made in the shape of any state or country, so no place in the world is off limits!
I’d say this would be perfect for a destination wedding, but it would really be perfect for any kind of wedding. I would likely keep this on my fridge long after the wedding had passed!
Details: This magnet is made out of maple wood with an mdf core (so it is very sturdy) and comes with a kraft envelope. The size of the magnets are approximately 4.25 by 3 inches…..depending on the shape, and the envelope is a 4bar size (fits standard 3.5 by 5 inch cards). The wood is 1/8 inch thick, and the words are engraved into the wood using our super cool laser.
Pricing: 25 for $110….. 50 for $170….. 75 for $225….. 100 for $305….. 125 for $380….. 150 for $450….. 175 for $525….. 200 for $600….. 225 for $675….. 250 for $750…..
I’m pretty sure these save the date magnets cost less than the paper save the dates I sent out, and these are much more memorable!

One of my favorite items included in the sale is this Opening Night Spray Necklace. Normally $228, it’s currently on sale for $89. It would make such a lovely wedding necklace that doubles as a “something blue”!
Megan and I have both written about how we splurged on designer shoes for our weddings. One of the reasons I did so is because I knew it was one of the only items from my wedding day that I would end up keeping and I wanted a pair that would withstand the test of time. If you’re looking for a pair of designer wedding shoes yourself and don’t want to pay full-price, look no further than this Kate Spade Surprise Sale where a few different pairs are on sale. Normally $328, these Micah Heels are currently on sale for $139! That’s nearly a $200 discount, which is pretty amazing!
One thing that’s kind of annoying about this sale is that it includes MANY items that aren’t actually on sale but that are wedding-related. Be sure to look at the prices before falling in love with an item!
