Earlier today Halle Berry announced that she is launching‎ the iconic French lingerie brand, Scandale Paris, in select Target stores and on Target.com on October 27th.
The line looks like it will be fairly affordable. (And, of course, everything from Target ships for free so it’s even more affordable!) The animal print bra above will cost $18 and the hipster bottoms will cost $7. Panties will be available in sizes XS-XXL and bras will be available in sizes up to 38DD.
Halle wore a Nina Ricci top paired with a Rebecca Vallance black leather skirt and Christian Louboutin shoes. Under her sheer shirt, Halle modeled an Illusion Demi bra in metallic black from the Scandale Paris collection.
What do you think? Will this line get you out to the stores?
Target announced yesterday that they are now offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders throughout the holiday season! This offer will be available through December 20, and is an obviously awesome ploy to help them compete better with Amazon this holiday shopping season.
One of the reasons I love Amazon so much is because I’m an Amazon Prime member, which means I get free* two-day shipping on all orders. This, of course, means that I take advantage of my Amazon account to purchase silly little items because, hey – free shipping!
In honor of Target offering free shipping on everything for the next two months or so, I thought it’d be fun to share five of the small things that you can now have shipped right to your door without paying an extra dime!
No more slipper emergencies! Keep your feet warm with these Kitty Slippers that are on sale for just $8.48 and ship for free!
Too lazy to walk to CVS, Walgreens or Duane Reade to pick up a new nail color? Have one shipped to your door for free! Essie Bordeaux ($8.49) is a perfect color for fall and winter!
Going to meet your BFFs new baby and you forgot to buy a gift? Quick! Head to the Target website and pick up this Gerber Onesie and Hat! It costs $6.99, but you can get 20% off and drop the price to $5.59 AND it’ll ship for free! You’ll look thoughtful but you’ll have spent no more than you do on your daily Starbucks run.
Bummed that The Cosby Show isn’t yet on Netflix? Don’t despair. Pick up seasons 1 and 2 on DVD for just $7.79 and have a Huxtable family marathon!
Did you forget to get your pup a costume this year? No worries – they’re all on sale at Target right now and with the free shipping you can get one shipped to your door for less than $10! My personal favorite is this Dog Superman Costume with Rhinestones (on sale for $8.99). It’s fancy and awesome!
The sky is the limit when it comes to free shipping this year Target, so enjoy the extra savings Target has bestowed on all of us this holiday season!
*Of course, Amazon Prime costs $99 per year so of course that shipping isn’t really free. But yes, I still think an Amazon Prime membership is a worthwhile investment.

I was beginning to think that the days of designer collaborations were coming to a slow, since it hs been awhile since Target announced a new collection. That all changed this morning, however, with the announcement that the Altuzarra for Target Collection is launching this September!Â
Target is partnering with Altuzarra to introduce a limited-edition collection of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories for fall. The Altuzarra brand is celebrated for embodying a combination of French sophistication and American ease, appealing to refined, independent women. The collection features a mix of iconic Altuzarra silhouettes with designs created specifically for Target. It includes nearly 50 items, ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99 for apparel and lingerie, and $29.99 to $79.99 for shoes and accessories.
Beginning September 14, 2014, Altuzarra for Target will be available at most Target stores in the United States and Canada, as well as Target.com. Additionally, an edited assortment of the Target collection will be available globally at NET-A-PORTER.COM.

Season after season, the Altuzarra brand continues to grow in popularity, with a strong celebrity following including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth, Cameron Diaz, Michelle Dockery and Cate Blanchett, among others. Born in Paris and raised by a Chinese-American mother and French father, Joseph attended Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and remained in the United States to begin his design career in New York City. His multicultural influences and early work with prominent designers led him to establish his namesake line in 2008. From there, Joseph quickly became a fashion force, receiving numerous prestigious awards and nominations. In January 2010, he was the recipient of the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award and Fashion Group International’s Rising Star of the Year Award. He also received the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund Award in 2011 and the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear Design in 2012. Most recently, he received a nomination for the 2014 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year.
